Kill List has been acquired by IFC Midnight
From SXSW 2011, IFC Midnight has picked up the well-received Kill List, from director Ben Wheatley (Down Terrace). The label has been known for their stellar genre output with Red, White, & Blue, The Human Centipede and its upcoming sequel, and others. The film follows a psychologically damaged ex-soldier who takes on a new assignment as a contract killer and descends into paranoia.
“Our team was blown away by Kill List,” said Sundance Selects/IFC Films president Jonathan Sehring. “It is a relentless, stylish, brilliantly directed journey into darkness that confirms Ben Wheatley as a major director.
