Justin Lin confirms Fast Six is his next film

And why wouldn’t it not be? After announcing he’ll just produce, not direct that Highlander remake (here), Justin Lin confirmed that his next film will be Fast and the Furious 6 (or Fast Six) for Universal, before possibly adding a new Terminator film to that franchise.

With Universal and Vin Diesel already confirming a May 24th, 2013 release date for the sixth film, that leaves little time for Lin to do much else. The Rock, Paul Walker, and Vin Diesel are all confirmed for Fast and the Furious 6, and if you saw the end credits sequence (avoiding spoilers), those two will probably be in it. With Fast Five making a truck load of cash, there’s no denying this franchise’s appeal. Strike while the iron is hot.
