Justice League script in the works!

We heard rumor yesterday that a live-action Justice League of America film was possibly in the works (here) after President of DC Entertainment Diane Nelson and CCO Geoff Johns shot down plans for an adaptation (here and here). However, in another interview with the LA Times, Warner Bros. President Jeff Robinov now confirms that a script is in the works.

WB seems to have been going the same route as Marvel by giving their characters solo films first, then teaming them up together. We’ll be seeing Green Lantern make his big screen debut this June, The Dark Knight Rises and The Man of Steel next year. But what about The Flash and Wonder Woman. Apparently, WB will be using Justice League to introduce the two characters, and give them spin-off adaptations. However, NBC is currently filming a reboot TV series for Wonder Woman, but Robinov says that we can also see her on the big screen as well. After all, no one seemed to complain when Superman Returns was released when Smallville was still airing.

The biggest question seems to be the case of Batman. Nolan has stated several times in interviews that he sees his vision of the character as a more realistic one, and doesn’t exist in a world with other superheroes. However, it was just confirmed the franchise would be rebooted once again (here), and we could see a take that will see him team up with Superman and the rest of the League.
