Journey to the Mysterious Island in January 2012

New Line/Warner Bros. has set the release date for Brad Peyton’s Journey 2: The Mysterious Island for January 12th, 2012 (via Coming Soon). The film stars Dwayne Johnson, Michael Caine, Josh Hutcherson, Vanessa Hudgens, Luis Guzman and Kristen Davis. The film shares the name of Jules Verne’s novel, but the story will only be loosley based upon the tale.
