Jonathan Levine updates All the Boys Love Mandy Lane’s release status

One of the seemingly great unseen horror films is All the Boys Love Mandy Lane, which has been left unreleased due to studio shifting, the Weinsteins, and stupidity. Director Jonathan Levine, who’s next film 50/50 is coming soon, talked to Movies.com and updated the release status of Mandy Lane.

“Is it ever going to be shown in the U.S.? Yes, I imagine it will be,” Levine remarked. “I’m friends with the guys who financed the movie, and the movie’s in some bizarre, crazy…like, this hedge fund owns it as part of their defaulted assets, and they don’t care. It’s just a line on a spreadsheet to them, and we’re trying to get it back.”

The film stars, who was then an unknown, Amber Heard as Mandy Lane, as she decides to go to a weekend party at a secluded ranch with some of her classmates, however, things take a murderous turn.
