Javier Bardem for Dispicable Me 2
The Hollywood Reporter is hearing that Javier Bardem is currently in negotiations to voice a new character in Dispicable Me 2. Bardem will be voicing El Macho, and his son will be Machito The first film was about an evil mastermind (voiced by Steve Carell), who turns from his evil ways. It’s unknown how this new villain will play into the film as plot details are being kept underwraps. However, Carell is expected to return in the sequel.
