It looks as though Nemesis has been scrapped

Twentieth Century Fox optioned Mark Millar’s Nemesis around this time last year, but we haven’t heard anything on the film in a good while. Well, there’s a reason, the film is apparently scrapped. Why? Because Mark Millar never finished the series. Joe Carnahan tweeted (via Bleeding Cool) Millar, and spilled the news. “Mark, my brother and I were going to adapt NEMESIS at Fox and it got f**ked off! We were waiting for you to finish the series,” he said.
The comics were indeed completed, but it’s unknown if Fox wanted more from Millar, or if the project was scrapped before hand. Anyway, it looks like Tony Scott, who was set to direct, can get to one of his another films planned in the meantime.
