Idris Elba will return for Thor 2
Not that big of a revelation, but Idris Elba will return as Heimdall in the director-less Thor 2, as he recently told IGN.
The Marvel sequel is in high gear, although Kenneth Branagh won’t return to direct, Chris Hemsworth will return for the third time as the God of Thunder (remember, he’s in The Avengers next), and outside of Elba – who can next be seen in Ghost Rider: The Spirit of Vengeance in February 2012 – there’s no word on if Natalie Portman will return.
Thor 2 is currently set to hit theaters on July 26th, 2013.
