Hawkeye confirmed for Thor

We’ve already heard a couple of rumors that Jeremy Renner will cameo as Hawkeye in Kenneth Branagh’s Thor this May (here and here). Cinema Blend was shown footage of the film during Cinema Con, and can now confirm he’s in the film. His cameo in the film will apparently more than just some walk on, and will have dialogue and use his famous bow. Although, it’s uncertain if his appearance will go beyond the scene that was shown. However, we can fully expect to see more or Renner next year when The Avengers arrives in May of 2012.

Thor opens on May 6th.
