Harrison Ford to return to Blade Runner sequels?

Do you remember a few months back, the rights to Blade Runner were bought and that the producers wanted Christopher Nolan to “godfather” sequels to the Ridley Scott film starring Harrison Ford (here)?

In a showcase to why some people shouldn’t actually be interviewing major stars, MTV talked to Harrison Ford, who’s out doing press for Cowboys & Aliens, and they asked the silly question if he would return to play Deckard in these sequels. “I have no idea at this point,” he said about taking part in the film. “It’s very early on. I know some of the people involved.”

Uh, sweet? Of course Ford doesn’t know what’s going on because there’s little actually going on. If WB and Alcon Entertainment are gearing up, and if they do want Nolan’s involvement, they kind of have to wait a year, because he’s off doing The Dark Knight Rises.

Or maybe they should just listen to Rutger Hauer (here). Thoughts?
