Halloween 3D might die off

Dimension Films has wanted to continue the new rebooted Halloween series, even though Rob Zombie has left the franchise with Todd Farmer from Jason X fame writing the script. That was like a few years ago. It seems Halloween 3D might get folded up and never see the light of day now, as Farmer talks about what’s going on with the film.

Since so much time has gone by, I don’t think a sequel to Rob’s ‘Halloween II’ would still play, so I’m not sure that our original script would work,” Farmer continues. “We literally started ours five minutes before Rob’s movie ended. So much time has gone by… there have been other things discussed, other ways to tell that story. The date has been set. October of 2012. And even that can be pushed forward if the movie’s ready, like the last couple. They’re listening to ideas and pitches… I don’t know what the future holds, but I know there will be another one.”

If Halloween is going to continue, I think another reboot is in order, rights?

  1. thank god!

  2. They shoudn’t make another one perhaps the first HALLOWEEN didn’t make Halloween movie fans go wild for me as a Halloween fan I like better the ORIGINAL maybe best. But the remake/reboot of the 2007 HALLOWEEN was not bad but 98% of the Halloween fans like the ORIGINAL better.
