Goldthwait’s God Bless America is a slasher?

While we all know and love/loathe Bobcat Goldthwait for his odd voice, I really hope people have checked out his directorial efforts in Shakes the Clown, Let Sleeping Dogs Lie, and World’s Greatest Dad. They’re all special and great in their own little ways, especially if you like dark humor.

According to Cinema Blend, Goldthwait is planning his next – God Bless America – and the comedian explains: “There’s this middle aged guy and he’s at home watching a show like My Super Sweet 16.” Like any sane person forced to watch this televised horror, this middle aged guy apparently didn’t like what he saw because after watching Bobcat says that he then, “drives 400 miles and kills that girl.”

That’s just the opening. “Then a classmate asks him ‘did you kill Chloe?’ and he doesn’t say anything and she goes ‘awesome’. So then they get in this stolen Camaro and drive around and kill people.”

Let this happen…he’s currently seeking funding for the indie project.
