Ghostbusters comes back to theaters
While fans have almost already guessed that Ghostbusters 3 most likely won’t be happening, it looks as though we’ll be able to enjoy the original film on the big screen once again. Sony has announced (via Coming Soon) they’ll be re-releasing Ivan Reitman’s Ghostbusters in theaters on October 13th, 20th, and 27th. And the best part about it is the film will not be converted to 3D as is most re-releases these days.
It’s unknown what prompted the studio to release the film in theaters again, but it could be due to the recent talks about doing a third film. Perhaps Sony is trying to get people interested in another film?
