Get ready for LEGO the movie
The world of LEGO has expanded since 1940s from toys to video games. Now, WB has announced (via Variety) they will be moving forward with a live-action/animated film on the property. The film has been in development for years, and will be written and directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller. No there’s real details on the story other than it will be set in the world of LEGO with live-action actors. Casting is said to begin in January for a 2014 release.
