Gellar reaffirms the suckiness of a Buffy remake

Just right when you thought the horrendous idea of remaking Buffy the Vampire Slayer might have gone away, one of the screenwriters (actually, Whit Anderson) for the proposed remake chimed in on Twitter with an update: “I know, Hollywood takes forEVER! But yes! It is still in the works.”

Ugh.

We ain’t the only ones yelling ugh. Blastr asked Buffy herself – Sarah Michelle  Gellar on her thoughts of the idea of a remake/redo/reboot: “I think it’s a horrible idea. To try to do a ‘Buffy’ without Joss Whedon, I mean that’s, like, honestly, to be incredibly non-eloquent: that’s the dumbest idea I’ve ever heard.”
