Forecast calls for more Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs
The LA Times is reporting that Sony has hired John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein (Horrible Bosses) has been hired to write the sequel to Phil Lord and Chris Miller’s Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. The film was loosely based upon the children’s book, but the sequel will be an original idea, and will not be based off the book’s follow-up, Pickles to Pittsburgh. Phil Lord and Chris Miller will also not be returning to direct, and it’s said the studio wants to hire a someone who’s worked in a lower-capacity.
