First look at the Caesar in Rise of the Apes

While at CinemaCon, Coming Soon scored an early look (via 20th Century Fox)- well, more of a teaser – of what the apes will look like in the film, now scheduled for a summer release in August 5th, 2011.

Directed by Rupert Wyatt, the film has an all-star cast with James Franco, John Lithgow, Freida Pinto, Andy Serkis, Brian Cox, and Tom Felton. The film’s plot, courtesy of Fox: an origin story in the truest sense of the term. Set in present day San Francisco, the film is a reality-based cautionary tale, a science fiction/science fact blend, where man’s own experiments with genetic engineering lead to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy.
