First look at Denis Leary in Spider-Man
For me, Denis Leary’s No Cure for Cancer is not only a brilliant bit of stand-up comedy, but it’s law, so I was excited to see him continue his good will from FX’s Rescue Me into Marc Webb’s untitled Spider-Man 3D reboot as Captain George Stacy, father of Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone). Up until Rescue Me I had never really liked Leary (probably because I’m a die hard Bill Hicks fan) but he was really good on that show so I’m excited to see what he can do in this.
