First look at Captain America during the Super Bowl?

We’ve already seen at least one trailer for most of the big tent-poles coming this summer, but no sign of trailer for Joe Johnston’s Captain America: The First Avenger or Matthew Vaughn’s X-men: First Class. There’s rumor that Johnston has delayed the trailer for Captain America because the footage “isn’t amazing” (here), but that doesn’t help at all. However, The Projection List is saying a TV Spot for the film will be shown for both Captain America and X-men: First Class during Super Bowl XLV on February 6.

It’s entirely possible as the Super Bowl isn’t just a good time to advertise beer, but movies as well. Although, it’s also not official either. Even if it’s true, it’s only a TV spot and not the actual trailer. Other trailers that are listed include Michael Bay’s Transformers: Dark of the Moon in front of I Am Number Four on February 18, The Hangover 2 on February 25, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part  2 and Super 8 in front of Battle: Los Angeles, and a second trailer for Green Lantern in front of Zack Sndyer’s Sucker Punch.

The actual trailer for Captain America: The First Avenger is listed as appearing in front of Thor on May 5, but that’s to close to the actual release date for a trailer to debut. Once again, it’s unknown how truthful this information is, but the site had to get their information from somewhere.
