Finally, Scrooged comes to Blu-ray

One of the few holiday classics has finally been announced for its HD debut. Paramount Home Entertainment has announced that the 1988 holiday comedy, a darkly humorous twist on the classic A Christmas Carol, starring Bill Murray for November 1st.

Scrooged also is receiving a new transfer, DTS audio, and possibly extras, although the only known extra is the trailer.

Richard Donner directs Murray, who plays a cold-hearted TV executive who is taken into his past by three ghosts.
