Ethan Hawke to Mars in Total Recall remake
THR today has announced that Ethan Hawke (Training Day, Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead) has an unspecified cameo in the upcoming remake of Total Recall. The new story involves nation states Euromerica and New Shanghai, with Douglas Quaid a factory worker in the latter who begins to believe he is a spy, although he doesn’t know for which side.
Also starring Colin Farrel in the Quaid role, which was originally Arnold’s in the original, the film is set for a August 3rd, 2012 date.
