Erica Durance on The Man of Steel

With Smallville coming to an end this year and Zack Snyder casting for his upcoming Superman reboot, fans are hoping the cast would reprise their roles in Snyder’s film. We’ve already heard from Tom Welling, who plays Clark Kent/Superman on the show, about rumors of his involvement (here), and now Erica Durance has given her thoughts (via Digital Spy) on the possibility of starring in the film. “I have thought about that, and the… Lois Lane experience that I’m in love with includes all of the people that I work with. [But] I’m open to everything and I don’t know anything [definite],” She said.

That doesn’t sound good for Smallville fans, and the only way she would sign on is if the entire cast did so as well. “Get everybody in the same place and then we’ll see. It’s one of those things where you get [attached]. You kind of have a thing for your own Superman. You don’t want to trade him in,” Durance said. Although, Snyder is most likely looking for a all-new cast for his film, possibly unknowns.

Meanwhile, you can see Durance as Lois Lane when Smallville returns on January 28.
