Eminem to perform Random Acts of Violence

Nine years after making his big-screen debut in Curtis Hanson’s 8 Mile, Marshal Mathers AKA Eminem will be returning in a crime thriller Random Acts of Violence, according to Vulture. At first, the film was much like the video-game Grand Theft Auto, but the script has been re-written over the years. People familiar with the project now say the film is more in the spirit of thrillers like The Town or The Departed. It’s uncertain what role Eminem will play as insiders are saying Twentieth Century Fox will likely pass on the next draft.
