Elijah Wood talks about returning to The Hobbit
It was revealed earlier this month (here) that Elijah Wood will be returning in Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit as Frodo Baggins. That has caused an uproar from fans of Tolkein’s novel as the story is set before Frodo is even born. Wood spoke with MTV News about the role, and revealed that it won’t tarnish the film’s story.
Ian Holm is expected to return as an older Bilbo (with Martin Freeman portraying a younger version), so we may see Bilbo’s story told to Frodo.
