Early details on Laid to Rest 3

Chromeskull: Laid to Rest 2 had its premiere last night at SDCC 2011 and director Robert Hall was in attendance talking at a Q&A after the screening. While most of us won’t see the film until September when Image Entertainment releases it to Blu-ray/DVD, Hall mentioned the first details about a Laid to Rest 3.

“Nothing official [yet]“, explains Hall, “We have an idea and we have a script.But it takes it in a completely different direction now and it begins at the end of Chromeskull. Originally it was going to be a prequel, but after the events at the end of this one, it won’t be.”

More soon, I’m sure, and it’s a safe bet that the man who wears the chromeskull mask, Nich Principe (interview here on Chromeskull: Laid to Rest 2) will return as the killer.
