Dumb and Dumber sequel has writers
It was in early-June that Jim Carrey hinted at the idea of a Dumb and Dumber sequel (here), and it looks to be actually be happening. Deadline is reporting that Sean Anders and John Morris have been hired to pen the script for the proposed sequel. The Farrelly Brothers have just recently wrapped up production on The Three Stooges, and are hoping this film will be their follow-up.
The last time we saw Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne was in the prequel Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd. That film was panned by both fans of the original film and critics. There’s no way of knowing how this will turn out just yet, but it can’t be any worse than the prequel. Hopefully, both Jeff Daniels and Jim Carrey are willing to reprise their roles.
