Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark gets distribution
FilmDistrict have picked up the U.S. rights for Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark, and are planning to release it on August 12th. The film has been floating around since Miramax shut down, it was originally going to come out last month. The film is a remake of a 70′s tv film of the same name. The film was directed by Troy Nixey and Guilliermo del Toro produced the film as well as contributed to the script. It stars Guy Pearce and Katie Holmes and I’ve included the trailer for you below!
A young girl sent to live with her father and his new girlfriend discovers creatures in her new home who want to claim her as one of their own.
