Dimension Films gives Halloween 3D and Scary Movie 5 release dates

Dimension Films is still keen on keeping these franchises going, with a Rob Zombie-less Halloween in Halloween 3D and yet another Scary Movie entry. Box Office Mojo confirms that Scary Movie 5 will be in theaters April 20th, 2012. Will it be funny enough to get high too? No other confirmation of director or actors yet.

Halloween 3D will stalk theaters October 26th, 2012, which will mark the first Halloween film to be put against the holiday in many, many years. Patrick Lussier and Todd Farmer are doing this Halloween, but there’s no idea where they’re taking the franchise, and remember, they’re knee-deep in that Hellraiser reboot.
