Dexter heading to Detroit for Robocop?

MGM’s reboot to the popular Robocop series is gearing up with all sorts of casting info and possibly rumors, with Chris Pine tapped as the cop who will become Robocop, and now Movie Moron claims to have received a scoop for a source close to the upcoming production that none other than Dexter himself, Michael C. Hall will head to Detroit for this film.

“An inside source of ours in Hollywood is telling us it will be Dexter star Michael C. Hall. Call this a 75% likelihood of accuracy. Personally, I hope it is true because he is the much better fit.”

The source oddly doesn’t acknowledge the current rumor of Chris Pine as Alex Murphy/Robocop, citing Hall would play the lead. Again, it’s a rumor, so let’s see how this would play out. Debunking in 5…4…3…
