David Koepp to fix MIB 3D

It was reported last month that filming on Barry Sonnenfeld’s Men In Black 3D was delayed for a second time because the script wasn’t finished (here). We may remember the production was delayed because the studio wanted Jeff Nathanson to re-work the time-travel plot in the film. Production was supposed to resume in February, but was delayed until the end of this month.

Deadline Hollywood is now reporting that David Koepp (Spider-man, Angels & Demons) has been brought back in to fix the script in time for production to resume on March 28. The film will see Agent J (Will Smith) traveling back in time to meet a young Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones in the present time, Josh Brolin in the past). Everyone knows that plot holes arise when you’re dealing with Time Travel, and it’s difficult to get it right. Sony is confident they can get the film out on time for its release on May 25, 2012, and they seem to have been pleased with the footage soo far.
