Could Deadpool begin filming this year?

Fans have been waiting impatiently for Twentieth Century Fox’s Deadpool spin-off, but it seems as though the film won’t be happening. We heard somewhat of an update on the film recently (here), but nothing concrete. Well, sources have told The Geek Files that production on the film could begin this year. Also, it appears that Ryan Reynolds is still attached to reprise his role as Wade Wilson/Deadpool. It’s uncertain of how truthful this is, but it’s enough to know the film is still on track. Hopefully we can expect some official news soon.
