All it took to water-down The Expendables 2 was Chuck Norris

One of my most anticipated films this year will be The Expendables 2. The first was already a kick-ass action film, and bringing in Jean Claude Van Damme and Chuck Norris only means we’ll get more kick-assness in film. Sadly, Norris will also be reponsible for watering down the film. “In ‘Expendables 2,’ there was a lot of vulgar dialogue in the screenplay. Fot this reason, many young people wouldn’t be able to watch this. But I don’t play in movies like this. Due to that I said I won’t be a part of that if the hardcore language is not erased. Producers accepted my conditions and the movie will be classified in the category of PG-13,” he said.

Okay, so cursing can’t make or break a film. Still…it just doesn’t seem right for a film like this to get a PG-13 rating. Hopefully this doesn’t mean the violence will be watered-down either.
